Education Foundation Announces New Website | |

HOUSTON (June 28, 2002) - Today, the Houston-based Money Management International Financial Education Foundation announced the launch of a new interactive website, www.mmifoundation.org. The website’s innovative design and great submission process provides organizations with important information regarding the Foundation’s mission and grant application process. The Foundation, founded in September of 2001, operates to educate the general public on sound personal financial skills and money management principles by developing, delivering, and supporting programs that teach those skills and principles. "Funding innovative programs and projects that raise financial literacy is a priority for the Foundation," stated Ivan Hand, Chairman of the Foundation. "The website does a terrific job of highlighting the Foundation’s mission, application process and current projects." The new website will allow grant writers to review the Foundation’s guidelines and submit grant applications online. "Online grant applications will allow us to review the applications more quickly and respond appropriately," added Mr. Hand. "We look forward to using www.mmifoundation.org to further the goals and mission of the Foundation." |
